Hazel Gap Barn Wedding Photographer | Nottinghamshire Barn Wedding Photography

Amy & Rick got married at Hazel Gap Barn in Nottinghamshire, a relaxed rustic barn with beautiful ambience, fire pits and BBQ Lamb on the menu for tea. The couple booked me to cover 8 hours of their wedding day so I arrived one hour before the ceremony which gave me opportunity to catch a few photo’s of the groom and the groomsmen doing their final preparations and also gives me chance to introduce myself to the registrar’s, who in this respect were brilliant and gave me full license to take photo’s throughout the ceremony.

The barn lets in lovely daylight which when balanced correctly with the warm orange lighting indoors creates some great colour photographs and these are always good fun to seek out in venues like this. After a relaxed reception, a few group shots and a couple of quick portraits of the bride and groom, the meal was served and was followed by some speeches.

In the evening, guests mingled around fire pits before the first dance took place in the main barn. The couple booked a band and they played well into the night with the dance floor being well occupied and providing plenty of great pics of the party.

I received this feedback from Amy & Rick when they looked through their photo’s:

“These are fantastic – some really great shots in there. Thanks so much. The more we look through these the more we think you really have captured the essence and sentiment of our day brilliantly. We’re looking forward to sharing with our guests :-)”

Here is a small selection of photo’s from Amy & Rick’s wedding to demonstrate my style of wedding photography.
